I had the best time at Tin Can's first-ever Mom & Baby bellydance class on 3/17. The kids are totally uninhibited and enthusiastic -- they're just so much fun to be around. It's amazing to watch how they naturally find their own ways to move to the music. There were even moments when I found myself imitating the movements the babies were making. I've come to realize that rhythm is not something we learn as we grow older; it's something we're all born with. And I think it's more than a little sad that, as we get older, many of us lose our natural rhythm through disuse.
